Originally launched as a collective, we began our work at the Luis Paulino Mora Mora CAI by offering entrepreneurship training to sentenced adult men.
Today, we continue to expand our programs, aiming to provide education, skills, and second chances that pave the way for successful reentry into society.
Our History
Since our beginnings between 2012 and 2016, Fundación Nueva Oportunidad has been deeply committed to fighting stigma and building opportunities for incarcerated individuals.
Our pilot programs at the Luis Paulino Mora Mora CAI focused on entrepreneurship, laying the foundation for a model of empowerment and self-sufficiency.
Today, we honor that history by continually adapting our initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
